My Story, My vision.
                                                      My Story

Picture
I was born in Reston, Virginia and raised in Vienna, Virginia by a wonderful single mother. I have a sister who is four years older than me. We moved around a lot when I was younger but my heart was always in Vienna. I went to many elementary schools and learned to make friends fast, since we moved so much. My mom calls me her "social butterfly". I went to two middle schools and we finally settled down in Vienna so we could stay in the same high school and graduate from there. My mom, sister and myself all graduated James Madison High School. Vanessa, my sister, transferred to Radford University and I told myself, my senior year of high school I would not go there because she was there. I applied to other universities and colleges and was reluctant to apply to Radford. I applied anyway, just as my safety school, everyone has a safety school, right? Well, I am so grateful I applied to Radford; it has been life changing for me.After double majoring and then changing majors and minors, I will be walking in May 2012 and be completing two classes in the Summer of 2012 to graduate from Radford University. I'm lucky to be the second graduate from college in my immediate family and the second graduate from RU. I continue to write my life story everyday, it just happens that chapters open and close all the time.

    My Vision
My mother is the greatest motivator I have. She encourages me to reach my goals and supports me in anything I do. My vision for myself is to first and foremost attend graduate school. If I can find a school that fits me and what I am looking for. I am wanting to pursue a Masters degree in Communications, Photography or International Studies/Relations. I would love to be living in the Northern Virginia with my fiance, Joshua. I want to work in Public Relations, possibly with a firm that helps deals with international PR. If I couldn't work in International PR, I would love to work for non-profit or the government. June 2013, I will be getting married to Joshua in my hometown of Vienna. We hope to live and work in NoVA or the Washington, DC area. In the future I would love to write a book or multiple books and hopefully get them published. I also want to break through with my professional Wedding/Engagement/Lifestyle Photography business on the side of working in the professional PR world. Photography is a huge creative outlet and I would love to make that a part time/ extra job.
